SOLVE: Ethernet doesn’t have a valid IP configuration

Ethernet doesn’t have a valid ip configuration is prompted when your NIC card connected to your router or modem through. The Ethernet cable is incapable to acquire an authentic IP Address. PC needs to talk to the router and work on the internet. There are three primary reasons for this trouble to arise, the primary one is a defective router. The second one is an incorrectly assigned IP address with the pc, and the last one is the defective NIC. Restart Your PC

There is a characteristic called fast startup that is designed to load settings from structures reminiscence or cache to reduce boot and start-up time. Several users suggested that this trouble is solved whilst the machine is restarted and speedy startup is disabled.

Disabling fast startup is certainly the best method able to solve this trouble, while it results in the loss of the Fast Startup facility completely. To incapacitate Fast Startup, you need to:·

  • To open WinX menu, right-click the Start menu button.
  • In the WinX menu, click on Power Options.
  • Click on Choose what the power buttons do / Choose what the power button does in the left pane.
  • Click Change Settings that does not exist currently.
  • Near the bottom of the window, uncheck the checkbox beside Turn on fast startup to incapacitate Fast Startup.
  • Click on Save changes.
  • Close the System Settings
  • Restart your System.

Check Your NIC (Network Adapter Settings)

The router commonly assigns the IP address with automatically and this must be the favored setting unless you’ve manually chosen to specify IP address. If so, you should set it automatically even after you connect, check the Internet properties for the correct settings and manually configure it. The guidance given below will work on Windows Vista/XP/7/8 and 10.

To start, just hold a window key and press the key R. Type ncpa.cpl and Click OK. In the Network Connections window, right click on your Network Adapter and select Properties ethernet valid IP configuration.

Uninstall and Reinstall your Network Adapter

  • Clasp the Windows Key and Press X. Type hdwwiz.cpl and then Click OK.
  • Expand, network adapter. Focus on the name of your network card.
  • Right-click on your Ethernet card (NIC) and select Uninstall.
  • Click on Action -> Scan for hardware changes from the top of the menu.

If the driver has been restored, then it should work if not, then you will need to restore your network interface card using the latest driver from the manufacturer’s site, search Google to find the latest drivers using the name you’ve noted. To avoid similar troubles with other components, it is best to use Driver Agent from here and let it automatically update all drivers before running into troubles.
