AT&T email not working, Here’s the fix!

For AT&T email issues you can guess it if you are facing issues with passwords, sign or login related issues, Webmail solutions, sometimes you find your emails from trash, issue with browsers, client setup related or issues with pop settings then declare it to be with AT&T related.

Solutions for resolving AT&T issues

  • Remove your current email profile and create a new AT&T email profile. For this, you will have to go to account settings in the file menu and in show profiles, choose to remove button. Subsequently, start afresh by creating a new account.
  • There can be a multiple location access error which not letting your AT&T email work properly for which you have to first, sign out of all the logged-in devices. Restart anyone and freshly try to sign in to your email account.
  • Network-related issue: Sometimes due to improper internet connection you may not able to log in for which try troubleshooting the issue or checking your internet connection and speed. The best way is to switch to Google DNS which can be done in the network and sharing option in your control panel and then choose this adapter and under properties change it to Internet Protocol Version 4/ (TCP/IPv4). Now, see if the issue is resolved.
  • Try opening in safe mode or antivirus as this helps to prevent the trouble that is causing this issue. Having a third-party antivirus is the best for all-purpose and for preventing future problems related to AT&T it can be very useful.

Steps to solve Sign-in issues with AT&T email:

If you got an error “Accelerator Not Found” then for solving this and making your AT&T email work then, most importantly clear all the cache and cookies. Now, refresh and see. Due to too many sign-in attempts also it must have been locked so wait for some time and try again.

If still this issue prevails try resetting your AT&T email password or in some cases if are misusing your account for spam then your account must need to be cleared from AT&T for further usage.

Steps to solve Webmail Relates issues:

  • Firstly, remove all caches and cookies from your browser.
  • Secondly, update your browser as sometimes a few features may not get compatible with older versions.
  • Most importantly, disable all the browser tools and add-ons if you have any as sometimes anything can disrupt.
  • Lastly, try to disable and re-enable the adobe flash player and try again.

Configuration related solution for AT&T email issues

  • If you are going to ATT IMAP Settings in Outlook then set the incoming E-mail Server to imap.mail.att.net; its port to 993. Lastly, set this for outgoing E-mail Server to smtp.mail.att.net and its port as 465.
  • Suppose you find out AT&T issue with POP: Go to ATT POP Settings in Outlook and set this incoming E-mail Server to inbound.att.net and its port as 995 and set the outgoing E-mail Server to outbound.att.net; and the outgoing Port to 465.
